A.S. Barlin was founded in 1982 by Norm Sanders.
Norm had been working for Factory Mutual Insurance Group. Factory Mutual is
arguably the worldís leader in commercial property insurance and risk management.
Norm honed his knowledge of the fire prevention industry as a Field Engineer. He
spent more than a decade working with Factory Mutual and then with contractors
until 1982.
Since its inception, A.S. Barlin, has led the industry in its
ability to find successful,
innovative solutions to the problems inherent to installation and maintainence of Fire protection systems. It is for that reason that the company has become so highly respected by its client base. Each department within A.S. Barlin is fo economically structured that it is also the only non-union company with the ability to complete million plus square foot projects without any deviation from their organization and structure.
